The World is our Community
When we say the world is our community, we mean it. Led by the desire to make a difference in people’s lives, OmniMount is committed to helping our local – and world – community in any way possible. In the past year, we launched our first annual BRAvo Event where we collected gently used bras to be donated to women’s shelters and raised thousands of dollars for breast cancer research. We also participated in global efforts to raise money for the Gulf Restoration Network after the BP oil spill and for victims of the Chilean earthquake. Our efforts continue to grow and are fueled by the thought that everyone – and every company – can truly make a difference.
The BRAvo Event was a month-long campaign to collect gently used bras for The Bra Recyclers, a local charity based in Queen Creek, AZ that recycles bras and provides deserving women in the community a basic lingerie staple. We collected 1,550 bras from all over the country that were later repaired and donated to a local women’s shelter.
Habitat for Humanity/Extreme Home Makeover
We have made multiple product donations to organizations that are dedicated to building a better community including Extreme Home Makeover and Habitat for Humanity.
National School Success Month
In honor of September being National School Success Month, we donated and delivered some of our products to local schools in need. These products have helped organize student classrooms and create a much more functional learning environment.
Making Strides Again Breast Cancer
OmniMount participates annually in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Tempe, Arizona. A corporate team of more than 50 employees, family and friends raised just over $8,500 in donations this year for the cause.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital
OmniMount regularly donates pieces of furniture to silent auction fundraising events hosted by the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Each year the company participates in a local ‘Adopt-a-Family’ program, which allows employees to help a family in need by donating food, gifts and household items to help make their holiday season brighter. Every little bit helps!
Gulf Restoration Network
After the BP oil spill, we made a donation to the Gulf Restoration Network, an organization with a goal of uniting and encouraging people to preserve and restore natural resources of the Gulf Region for our future generations.
“Un Techo Para Chile”
OmniMount contributed to a $15,000 donation to “Un Techo Para Chile” to help build sustainable housing for Chileans left homeless in the February 2010 earthquake.
