OmniMount Recognized by Electronic House with a 2008 Product of the Year Award
OmniMount, a global leader in consumer and commercial mounting solutions, announced today that the Prism 50 has been named the recipient of the Electronic House Product of the Year Award for 2008. The Prism 50, a collaborative effort with celebrated industrial and interior designer Karim Rashid, was recognized for its technological innovation, overall value and extraordinary features. The judges at Electronic House agreed that the Prism 50 distinguished itself from other products and was a benefit to the homeowner.
“When OmniMount came to me I was so impressed with their massive line of intelligent mounting fixtures,” said Rashid. “I felt that we could collaborate to elevate a needed line of furnishings for our new technologically-savvy homes. Together we will bring the A/V home furnishings category up to speed with the beauty and fulgency of our audio/visual age!”
OmniMount and the Prism 50 will be honored at an awards ceremony held at this year’s Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association Show (CEDIA EXPO) in September, in Denver, Colorado.
